Getting into the swing of a new school year routine can be rough. The first day or two go fairly smoothly because everyone has the “back to school” buzz.
But by week two? The kids want to sleep longer, someone can't find their left shoe, and another swears they never got a permission slip signed. (It's been sitting on the counter since Tuesday.) You haven't had your coffee yet, and you're already saying "we're going to be late" for the third time.

A paper station — the difference between a permission slip that gets signed and one that gets discovered three days late, crumpled, at the bottom of a backpack with jelly smeared on it.
A calendar — even a simple one, so everyone in the house knows what today actually requires of them.
A catch-all for the small stuff — keys, water bottles, the library book that's already overdue.
A charging station for tech — devices need a home, too. And this keeps them out of the bedroom overnight!
